Shannon Clark Lewis passed away on July 3, 2026, at the age of 55, surrounded by the love of her family.
Born in Springfield, Illinois, Shannon was the daughter of Ross and Paige Clark. Thirty-eight years ago, she went on her first date with Randy Lewis, beginning a love story and life partnership that would span nearly four decades. They were married on September 25, 1992, at the Graceland Wedding Chapel in Las Vegas, Nevada, and shared nearly 34 years of marriage.
Together, Shannon and Randy built a life centered on love, family, friendship, and shared adventures. Their greatest joy was their two children, Reilly and Regan, whom Shannon loved more than anything in the world. She was immensely proud of the people they are today, and being their mother was at the very heart of who she was.
Shannon loved the beach, time spent at the lake, and opening her home to family and friends. She had a gift for bringing people together and creating the kind of moments that became lasting memories. Her beautiful smile could light up a room and lift the spirits of everyone around her.
Shannon also shared an extraordinarily close bond with her mother, Paige. Their relationship was a constant source of love and companionship, and the two spoke several times each day.
The final years of Shannon’s life brought challenges that few could imagine, but those challenges never defined her. Through it all, and especially during her final weeks, she demonstrated extraordinary strength, courage, grace, and determination. Even in the most difficult moments, she remained positive and hopeful and never stopped fighting. Those closest to her witnessed a strength of spirit they will never forget.
Shannon is survived by her loving husband, Randy Lewis; her son, Reilly Clark Lewis; her daughter, Regan Paige Lewis; her parents, Ross and Paige Clark; and her brother, Shane (Christine) Connell Clark; along with extended family and countless friends whose lives were made richer by knowing her.
Shannon will be remembered for her loving heart, her generous spirit, her radiant smile, and the joy she brought to those around her. She was a devoted wife, a fiercely loving mother, a cherished daughter and sister, and a loyal friend. She was deeply loved, and her absence leaves an immeasurable void in the lives of all who knew her.
A Celebration of Life is being planned for a later date, when all those who knew and loved Shannon will be invited to gather, share stories, remember her, and honor the beautiful life she lived and the love she gave so freely.
The family is being served by Pitman Funeral Home in Wentzville.
