Sharon Jo Davidson passed away on June 11, 2026 at the age of 78.

She is survived by her husband, Ronald Davidson; her two daughters, Angela (Christopher) Gordon and Veronica (Cordel) Dietzig; three sisters, Debra (Vaughn) Bailey, Darlene (Jeff) Dyer, and Rebecca (David) Simpson; sister-in-law, Laura (Michael Upchurch) Davidson; grandchildren, Justin, Chris, Kylie, Caitlyn; She is preceded in death by her father, Henry Matthews, mother, Billie Jo (Webster) Matthews, brother, Butch Matthews.  

Sharon "Jo" and Ronald shared 56 wonderful years of marriage. From this union, they were blessed with two daughters, Angela and Veronica.

Jo had a passion for travel and treasured the many adventures she and Ronald shared while exploring the U.S. in their RV. She had a deep appreciation for history, especially the stories and events surrounding the Civil War, and she enjoyed learning about the places they visited along the way. Jo also held a special fascination with the Royal Family of England and loved following their history and traditions.

She was known for her kind and caring nature. Above all else, she loved her family dearly and treasured the time spent with those she loved.
