Shaun Edward McLaren

Shaun Edward McLaren, 50, of St. Charles, Missouri, died Tuesday, August 18, 2020 at his home.

The son of Donald E. and Bonnie J. (Neville) McLaren, he was born May 13, 1970 in Evergreen Park, Illinois.

On May 23, 1992 , he married Kristi (Hreben) McLaren , who survives.

Also surviving him are: Son-Seth Donald McLaren, daughter-Sara Elizabeth McLaren, mother-Bonnie J. McLaren, father-Donald E. McLaren, brother-Randy J McLaren, sister-Wendy J King.

He was preceded in death by: Grandfather-D’Arcy McLaren, Grandmother-Jean McLaren, Grandfather-Thomas Neville, Grandmother-Jean Shipley.

Shaun grew up in Orland Park, IL, graduated from Morgan Park Academy HS in 1988, entered military service in 1989 with distinguished service in South Korea and Iraq and retired as a Sergeant First Class in 2014. Shaun was a member of the DAV (Disabled American Veterans). Shaun loved soccer, coached football and baseball, was a lover of music and movies.

As were his wishes, cremation rites were accorded and a Celebration of Life will be from 9:00 AM visitation, Memorial Service at 10:30 AM with escorted procession to Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery for Military honors and interment at 12:30 PM September 4, 2020 beginning at Pitman Funeral Home, 1545 Wentzville Parkway, Wentzville, MO 63385
