Shirley Clooney Obituary

Shirley May Clooney went home October 19, 2020 at the age of 93. She was married on August 20, 1949 to her high school sweetheart, Joseph Robert “Bob” Clooney who preceded her in death. She is survived by her two daughters Christine Pulliam (Marcellas) of Wentzville, Mo and Jacqueline Barrett (Ervin) of St Peters, Mo, three grandsons Eric Wessler, Elijah Pulliam, David Pulliam (Cara Mia), great granddaughter Audrey Pulliam and her sister Charlene Steinhoff of Lake St Louis, Mo. She was preceded in death by her father Frank J Ewers, mother Lillian Boos Ewers, brother Frank Ewers and two sisters Delores Sheble and Dorothy Thompson.
Shirley and Bob owned Nelson Automotive in St Louis, Mo until they decided to retire, move to Florida and travel the world together. Her final destination was Heaven. She is loved and will be missed greatly.
