Steve Booth was born in West St. Louis County to Bessie Alma Booth, and was raised by Robert Jackson. His mother and father precede him in death. He was the third child of Bessie Booth, of nine children, who lived until adulthood. He is preceded in death by his two brothers, Allan “Ricky” and Michael Booth.
Steve worked for the Missouri State Highway Department until he retired.
Steve leaves to mourn his passing his wife, Cherry Ann Hill-Booth, a son by his first wife Shirley, Edward Michael Booth, two granddaughters, Tessiana and Jada, twin grandsons, Edward and Michael.
He married Cherry Ann Hill on September 15, 1996. To this marriage three children were born, Nakaha (Nikki), Kevin, and Mark. He is grandfather to, Ramal, Navon, Anyaha, and Jada, great-grandfather to, Layden. Also, survived by his sisters, Carmen Foster, Sharon Foster-Peebles, Tonya Foster-Banks, brothers, Marion Foster, Jr., Terrence (Erica) Foster, Brian Foster, aunt, Constance Fraizer, sisters-in-law, Barbara Hill and Pamela Booth, brothers-in-law, Dallas Hill and Laurance Hill, mother-in-law, Agnes Hill, his favorite nephew, Timothy Foster, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
