Steven Miller Obituary

Steven F. Miller died unexpectedly on May 29, 2022 at Missouri Baptist Hospital. He was born on January 5, 1973 in Las Vegas, Nevada. He was the son of Donald E. and Elizabeth Marion (Madden) Miller.

He graduated from Chaparral High School, the Class of 1991. After graduating, he worked hard at pursuing a career in the grocery store industry. In 2000, he relocated his family to the St. Louis area where he has resided since. He was the loving husband of Brooke (Weeks) Miller and the father/stepfather of 8 children, and the grandpa to a granddaughter. Steve was the ultimate movie geek, some of favorites are the Star Wars Saga and the Marvel Universe. He loved sports, especially watching his favorite baseball team the St. Louis Cardinals and the football team the 49ers.

He was predeceased in death by granddaughter Tinsley Flanigan, his stepson Carter Hinkle, his maternal grandparents Marion “Buddy” and Sonja (Fritchley) Madden, and his paternal grandparents John and Mary Virginia (Johnson) Miller.

Surviving in addition to his wife Brooke (Weeks) Miller, are his daughters Destiny Miller, Ashley Miller, Taylor Flanigan, Breanna Miller, Alex Hinkle, Lyndle Miller; and his son Jaxson Miller; his granddaughter Kennedy Flanigan. He is survived by his three brothers Chris, Randy, and Jason Miller; three sisters Melissa Carlson, Jennifer Herrera, and Brittany Hood. He was also loved by many cousins, nephews, and nieces.

Services will be held in his memory on June 3, 2022 at Pitman Funeral Home, 1545 Wentzville, MO 63385. Visitation times are from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm, with a service at 3:00 pm.
