Susan Delphine Huntspon

Susan Delphine Huntspon, of Wentzville, Missouri, passed away on December 31, 2025, at the age of 66.

Susan was born on October 30, 1959, in Denmark, Tennessee, to the late Prentice Merriweather and Dollye Mae Huntspon. She graduated from Wentzville High School in 1978. 

Susan was a devoted member of Hopewell Baptist Church, where she loved attending services and lifting her voice in gospel song. She embraced life fully and found happiness in simple pleasures-cooking for loved ones, sharing laughter, enjoying milkshakes, and savoring her favorite Nacho Cheese Doritos. Known for her warm spirit and great sense of humor, Susan brought smiles to everyone she encountered. Above all, Susan deeply loved her family. 

She is survived by her stepmother, Doris Merriweather of Nashville, Tennessee; three sisters, Penny (Timothy) Saddler of Wentzville, Missouri, Phoebe (Dwayne) Hilliard of Wentzville, Missouri, and Brenda Wamack; her sister-in-law, LaWanda Northern of Warrenton, Missouri; along with numerous cousins and a host of nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.

Susan was preceded in death by her father, Prentice Merriweather; her mother, Dollye Mae Huntspon; and her brother, Bryan Northern.

Susan’s memory will forever live on in the hearts of those who loved her.
