Susan Jane O'Neill passed away on June 8, 2021 at the age of 81. She was the beloved wife of the late William O'Neill, III of O Fallon, Missouri for 58 years. She is survived by her son, Mark (Debbie) O'Neill of Warrenton, MO; two daughters, Cynthia O'Neill of O'Fallon, MO, and Maura J. O'Neill of O'Fallon, MO; two brothers, Steven (Rae) Walker of Woodland Hills, CA, and Peter Walker of Glendora, CA; three sisters, Ann (Walt) Tyler of Northridge, CA, Diane Vernon of Van Nuys, CA, and Zoe Burke of Arroyo Grande, CA; seven grandchildren, Jennifer O'Neill, Kristy O'Neill, Lawrence Hart, Allyssa Morse, Collin Nyemetz, Jack Nyemetz, and Jade O'Neill; two great-grandchildren, Dylan Hallgren, and Nathan O'Neill; two sisters-in-law, Dottie O'Neill of Phoenix, AZ, and Marie Walker of Denver, CO; and numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her father, Dr. Ralph H. Walker, mother, Alice P. Walker nee Wendell; and brother, John Walker. Susan was very accomplished having earned both a Bachelor's Degree in English as well as Nursing. She cared for- and even saved the lives- of many children as a pediatric ICU nurse for 22 years. Susan loved to yearly attend the St. Louis Symphony Orchestra to see the Bach Society concerts. She loved to travel to many places around the world, however her favorite trips were to the Holy Land, Normandy, France, and to her lake house in the Ozarks. Susan was a very active member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Dardenne Prairie. There she dedicated 40 years to teaching at the Parish School of Religion. Susan was a remarkable woman and she will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
