Theresa Renee Wanick passed away on July 6, 2026 at the age of 59. Theresa was born May 23, 1967 in Troy, MO to the late Charles and Minnie Lucas nee Cole. 

Theresa was a one of a kind woman, she had the kindest and most giving heart, she would help anybody that she could. She loved life itself, always on the go, she never let anything get her down, thru all her health problems that she went thru she remained strong and had a great personality and spirit. Theresa enjoyed painting, crafting, garden gnomes,  dancing, music, Janis Joplin being one of her favorites. She  loved going to thrift stores and garage sales. She loved her dog Pup-pup, he was always her companion right by her side.

Theresa is survived by her children Justin Lucas of Jonesburg, MO; daughter, Kyrie Lucas of Bellflower, MO; siblings, Charles Lucas; Trish Harrell and  Lynn Starks; numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews, and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, Donald Wanick, and siblings Ralph Cole, Marvin Lucas, Caroline Reeves, Katherine Bollmann.  Theresa's loving personality and spirit will be missed by all who know and loved her dearly.
