Thomas Ahrens Obituary

Thomas Ahrens of Wentzville, Missouri, passed away on April 3, 2025 at the age of 87. He was the beloved husband of Joanne Ahrens (nee: Downen) of Wentzville, Missouri; He is survived by his son, John (Laura) Ahrens of Plainfield, IL; two daughters, Jamie (Stormy Church) Ahrens of St. Paul, MN, Tricia (Vaughn) Paddock of Wentzville, MO; brother, Stephen (Sharon) Ahrens of Mexico; sister, Emily McLamb of Hilton Head Island, SC; grandchildren, Quinn, Tali, Mitchell (Gabi), Sydney, Olivia, Brooke, Kate, Jillian; great grandchild, Asher; He is preceded in death by his father, Harvey Ahrens, mother, Violet  Ahrens (nee: Broker), daughter, Janeen Ahrens, brother, Bill Ahrens, sister and brother-in-law, Betty and Larry Spanberger, sister, Jane Ahrens, brother-in-law, Payton McLamb.  
 
Thomas a devoted member of the Masonic fraternity for 65 years, Thomas was a remarkable individual known for his unwavering commitment to service and community. He was also a dedicated Shriner, actively participating in various charitable initiatives that brought joy and assistance to countless individuals. Beyond his service to others, Thomas had a passion for the outdoors. He found great joy in spending time on the golf course, where he forged lasting friendships and created cherished memories with fellow golfers. Fishing was another beloved pastime, allowing him to relax and connect with nature. Thomas will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
