Thomas Joseph Forster passed away on January 5, 2026 at the age of 86.
Tom was born March 3, 1939 in Chicago, IL to the late Philip and Doranne Forster nee Pichler.
Tom is survived by his loving wife Linda Forster nee Spellbrink of Warrenton, MO; two daughters, Carol Ann Talbert of KY, Christina (Scott) Baker of VA; 4 step-children Synola Wilkins, Dhana (David) Young, Adriana Borders and Craig Reinhardt all of MO; two brothers, Robert James (Elizabeth) Forster of Grayslake, IL, Raymond Albert (Sandy) Forster of Bartlet, IL; sister, Marian Dorothy (Ted) Garcia of Heber Springs, AR; two sister-in-laws, Jean Stanton, Maureen "Babi' Forhan; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents, his first wife Joan Forster, daughter, Betty Louise Forster, step-son, Robert Reinhart, brother, Philip Charles Forster, Jr., sister, Kathryn Virginia Boysen.
Tom was an avid collector of many items, but especially loved his John Deere tractor collection. Tom was a member of the Illinois-Missouri Tractor and Engine Club,Warren County Old Thrashers Assoc, and the 2 cylinder club of Marthasville. Tom proudly donated a tractor and engine to American Farm Heritage Museum in Greenville, IL and also donated a 1/3 scale steam engine tractor and engine to Antique Steam & Gas Engine Club & ITs Theshersman's Park in Booneville. Tom was a member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church and past member of the Knights of Columbus. Tom loved to meet up with family and friends and go out to eat. He was greatly loved by his family and friends. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
