Thomas Love

Thomas Love of Wentzville, Missouri, passed away on March 18, 2025 at the age of 87. He was the beloved husband of Judith "Judy" Love (nee: Baumgartner) of Wentzville, Missouri; He is survived by his three sons, Michael T. (Melissa) Love of Truxton, MO, Andrew T. (Amy) Love of Rogersville, MO, James T. (Barbara) Love of Cedar Hill, MO; grandchildren, Brianna, Monica, Nick, Rachael, Jacob, Nick, Ryan, J.T., Renee; great grandchild, Briar; many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He is preceded in death by his father, Roy I. Love, mother, Nina Love (nee: Evans), brother, Roy Love, Jr., brother, Bob Love, sister, Barbara Love. 

Thomas was born on February 22, 1938, in Ecorse, Michigan. Thomas graduated from Michigan Tech with a Bachelors Degree in Business while at Michigan Tech he was commissioned through Army ROTC. Thomas married the love of his life, Judy Baumgartner on June 15, 1968 in Niles, MI, and they celebrated 56 years of marriage. He dedicated 20 years to the United States Army, he proudly served two tours in Vietnam and earned the rank of Lieutenant Colonel. After his military career, Thomas retired from the Wentzville School District, where he touched the lives of many students and colleagues. Thomas owned and operated Prairie Way Antiques and Quilt Shoppe for 17 years. He cherished spending his afternoons and weekends attending auctions and exploring the world of vintage antiques. A devoted member of the Knights of Columbus, Thomas held the esteemed title of 4th Degree and was an active part of his community. His faith was central to his life; he was heavily involved with St. Patrick Catholic Church,Wentzville, taking on roles as a lector and Eucharistic minister. Thomas will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
