Thomas "Tom" Joseph Monfre

Thomas Joseph Monfre, affectionately known as Tom, passed away January 22, 2025 in St. Louis, MO. 

Tom was born March 9, 1959, son of Thomas A. Monfre and Bernadette M. (Klass) Monfre.  Tom is survived by his loving wife of 37 years, Denise (Steib) Monfre, who he married on Valentine’s Day in 1987. He is survived by his two children; Mike (Emily) Monfre and Courtney (Chad) Klingkammer; three siblings, Nancy (Bill) Mueller, William (Karen) Monfre, and Carol (Ted) McCoy; three+ grandchildren; Mason Monfre, Reese Monfre; Emma Klingkammer, and soon to arrive, Rhett Thomas Monfre; step-father, Joe Puccinelli; mother-in-law, Arlene Steib; sisters-in-law, Laura (Craig) Kottke and Diane (Dan) Vanden Boogard; nieces and nephews, Becky Zellmer, Ali (Dan) Grim, Tom Monfre, Matt McCoy, Katie McCoy, Melissa (Blake) Thompson, and Morgan (Matt) Zaworski.  He is preceded in death by his parents, Thomas and Bernadette Monfre; father-in-law, Kenneth Steib and nephew Steven Zellmer. 

He enjoyed delving into beer and wine making and barbecuing for his family and friends to enjoy.  He was a fan of the Green Bay Packers and loved cheering them on.  Most of all he was a loving and caring family man (Pop-Pop).
