Toni (Gegg) Schroeder

Toni Schroeder (nee: Gegg) of Wentzville, Missouri, passed away on July 31, 2025 at the age of 78. She is survived by her beloved husband, David Schroeder  of Wentzville, Missouri; son, Kirk Schroeder of St. Charles, MO; daughter, Susan (Brian) Pleasant of Wentzville, MO; sister, Carolyn Sue Gegg of O' Fallon, MO; three grandchildren, Megan Pleasant, Dalton Pleasant and Dylan Pleasant; and a plethera of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She is preceded in death by her father, Joseph Gegg, mother, Celeste Gegg (nee: Rogers), siblings, Dwight (Kathy) Gegg, Onlalee (Larry) Hobein, Frances (Lester) Keaton, Beverly (Floyd) Barnes, Curtis Gegg. 

Toni married her cherished husband, David, on July 20, 1968, and they celebrated 57 wonderful years together, creating a beautiful life filled with cherished memories. From their union, they were blessed with two children, Kirk and Susan. Toni dedicated many years as a rural route carrier for West Alton/Portage De-Sioux, a job she truly loved. Her warm personality and genuine care made her a beloved figure in the community; the people on her mail route adored her. Toni had a passion for gardening, hunting for treasures at garage sales, and collecting antiques. She had a sweet tooth and loved shopping. She enjoyed visiting with loved ones and friends. She effortlessly brought joy with her kind nature and infectious laughter. Nothing made Toni happier than her grandchildren, whom she loved to spoil with affection and attention. Toni will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
