Vincent Lee Crumes of Flint Hill, MO was born in Wentzville, MO to the parents Bevel and Gusta Crumes.
With heavy hearts yet in full faith, the family of Vincent announce that on March 17, 2023, he peacefully went to sleep in death, continuing in God’s care.
Vincent lived a happy life of faith and love.
He spent many hardworking years on the family farm on Wilmer Road in Wentzville and was employed by Ed Oakly for many years. Farming was not only his occupation but his passion. His talents were many- Carpentry, Artistry, he loved to draw, an exceptional mechanic. He loved to work on lawnmowers, cars, trucks and small engines and then go to the flea market.
He enjoyed the people he met both in the local community and on trips with his siblings. Trips he especially spoke fondly of were a road trip to California and a tour of Jerusalem.
Vincent was preceded in death by his parents Bevel and Gusta Crumes; (sisters) Lorine Buffington and Darline Simons; (brothers) Elvin, Wilbert, LeRay and Elroy Crumes.
He leaves to cherish his memories (nephews) Keith (Flo) Crumes, Kevin Crumes; (nieces) Barbara (Tony) Love, Brenda (Henry) Davis, Deborah (Brian) Speas, Rachel Simons, Maurita Whitehurst, Lydia Crumes; sister-in law, Helen Crumes; and a host of cousins, great nephews, great nieces, and close friends to mourn his loss but cherish his memories.
