Virginia Ostmann (née: Fehr) of Foristell, Missouri, passed away on February 24, 2026, at the age of 91. She is survived by her beloved husband, Elmer Ostmann of Foristell, Missouri; sister, Judith Horstmeier of Laddonia, MO; She is preceded in death by her father, Robert Fehr, mother, Iona Fehr (née: Gronefeld).
Virginia was a faithful and devoted member of Immanuel Lutheran Church, where she worshiped since 1961.
Virginia and her beloved husband, Elmer, were blessed to celebrate an incredible 73 years of marriage together. Wherever you saw Virginia, Elmer was sure to be by her side. Their love and devotion to one another were evident to all who knew them, and together they built a beautiful life centered on faith, family, and farming.
Virginia never met a stranger. Her warm smile and friendly nature allowed her to make friends wherever she went. She had a gift for storytelling and could captivate a room with her memories. Virginia enjoyed fishing, camping, dancing, and was a wonderful cook who especially delighted in preparing meals for her family during her favorite holidays.
Virginia will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
