William Allen of Foristell, Missouri, passed away on April 27, 2026 at the age of 45. He is survived by his beloved wife, Rachel Allen (née: Shepherd) of Foristell, Missouri; daughter, Lily Allen of Foristell, MO; father, David (Jo) Allen of Clinton, Kentucky; mother, Mary Enterman of St, Louis, MO; two sisters, Joni (Todd) Holtzclaw of Carmi, IL, Sarah (Jeff) Grisham of Wadesville, IN; brother, Joe Allen of Carmi, IL; father-in-law, Bill Shepherd of Thornburg, IA; mother-in-law, Marilyn Shepherd of Hockley, TX; brother-in-law, Abel Shepherd of Scottsdale, AZ. He is preceded in death by his mother, Mona Spaetti (née: Robinson).
William graduated from the University of Illinois, where he earned his bachelor's degree and was recognized as a top 25 electrical engineering student in the college. He went on to build a successful career as a commercial electrical engineer.
William met the love of his life, Rachel, through their best friends after a series of serendipitous events. After dating for two years, they were united in marriage on August 15, 2009. Together they shared a beautiful life filled with love, laughter, and adventure. After celebrating 8 years of marriage, they were overjoyed to welcome their daughter, Lily, in 2018, who became the center of their world.
William loved to travel and cherished memories made in places such as Jamaica, Mexico, and Aruba. He and his family especially enjoyed camping trips and kayaking adventures together. He had a passion for building projects, enjoyed attending concerts, and was an avid sports enthusiast who loved following all sports, attending events and participating in fantasy sports leagues. Above all else, William treasured his family and the time spent with those he loved. He had an infectious personality, joy for life and a genuine heart.
William will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
