Bill (William) G. Anderson, age 74, of Troy, MO passed away peacefully surrounded by family on June 28, 2026. His final hours were spent exactly as he wished, cracking jokes with his loved ones and enjoying a glass of Pepsi.

Born on August 22, 1951, in St. Louis, MO. Bill graduated from Festus High School in 1969 and went on to attend S&T University in Rolla, MO. Followed by a fulfilling career as a proud Master Carpenter at Local 1596 Mid-America Carpenters Regional Council. Bill took immense pride in working with his hands, turning raw wood into beautiful lasting structures; most recently building a travel trailer with his daughter Mary. He took great pride in being a “do-it-yourself” handyman, always eager to assist anyone in need. When Bill wasn't in his own garage workshop he could be found helping others with their projects. Bill enjoyed spoiling his dog, Peaches, with an abundance of treats every day. He also took pleasure in his daily routine of refilling the bird feeders and scaring away squirrels, allegedly with a BB gun. Bill had a deep passion for the library and could be found reading multiple books simultaneously. A lifelong Harley Davidson motorcycle enthusiast; he enjoyed the freedom of the ride, the wind in his beard and the camaraderie of the riding community. Widely known as “Mad Dog” or “Wild Bill”, he left an undeniable mark on everyone who had the pleasure of riding alongside him.

Bill was preceded in death by his parents Claud & Mary Anderson and his brother Joseph Anderson, of St. Louis, MO and close friends Jim Emery, Meg Corzine, Terry DeGrasso, Cary Warndenburg, Lisa Fineis, Matt Pippin and Rick Zemblidge.

Bill is dearly missed by his spouse of 24 years: Denise Anderson. His legacy continues through his children: Mary Anderson, Brandon Anderson (Lisa), Krystal Phipps (Kevin) and stepson Ben Bauer; his grandchildren: Zyla Anderson, Jake Anderson (Yordi), Bradyn Anderson (Jenna), Lani Anderson, Lane Hamlett and Sadia Bauer; as well as his great-grandchildren Evana Anderson, Eden Anderson and a third (baby boy) expected to arrive this fall. Bill will remain fondly remembered by an intimate circle of lifelong friends who meant the world to him: Del Corzine, Bill & Tina Vance, Little Charlie, Lani Emery and Ken Zumwalt. Furthermore, his absence will be deeply felt by a vast community of construction workers and fellow riders who accompanied him throughout his life's journey.
