William Raymond Gatewood

William Gatewood passed away on September 5, 2021 at the age of 81. He was the beloved husband of Nancy Gatewood nee Nielsen of Wentzville, Missouri; He is survived by his four sons, William R (Julianne) Gatewood II, Robert G. (Christine) Gatewood, Riley O. (Karen) Gatewood, Russell (Kathrine) Gatewood; two daughters, Robin K. (David) Bealler, Peggy (Paul) Yoder; grandchildren, 18; great-grandchildren, 15;  He is preceded in death by his father, Robert W Gatewood, mother, Mabel L Childers, first wife, Alice Gatewood nee Brewer, brother, Ronald Gatewood, half-brother, Robert Childers.  William was a member of William was active in Pauldingville Masonic Lodge #11 in Wright City, Missouri. He was a veteran having served in the US Navy. William loved to hunt and fish. He was very interested in Astronomy.  He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Memorials can be made to Pauldingville Masonic Lodge #11 in Wright City  for funding charities.
