William "Bill" Holt II

William "Bill" Wade Holt ll of Wentzville, MO, passed away peacefully on January 13, 2025 at the age of 69. He was the beloved husband of Shirley Holt (nee: Martin) of Wentzville, MO; he is survived by his mother, Bernadine Holt (nee: Rose) of Warrenton, MO; son, Christopher "Chris" (Rebecca) Holt of Warrenton, MO; two daughters, Jennifer Holt of Wentzville, MO Stefanie (Michael) Danhaus of Wentzville, MO; four brothers, Mike (June) Holt of Warrenton, MO, Mark (Michelle) Holt of Washington, MO, Steve Holt of Warrenton, MO, Matt (Megan) Holt of Jonesburg, MO; sister, Beth (George Pickett) Holt of Wright City, MO; nine grandchildren, Coleman, Cohen, Conner, Hunter, Keaton, Austin, Everett, Madelynn, and Audrey. He is preceded in death by his father, William "B.W." Wade Holt.

Bill was born with a spirit of determination and kindness. He married the love of his life, Shirley, on March 3, 1979, at her parents' home in Truxton, MO. Together, they built a beautiful life and were blessed with three wonderful children: Christopher "Chris," Jennifer, and Stefanie. For over 40 years, Bill owned and operated Holt Construction, establishing a reputation for quality and integrity in his work. Beyond his professional accomplishments, he was a devoted man of faith, finding strength and purpose in his beliefs. Bill had a passion for the outdoors; he cherished his time playing golf, baseball, and spending time with his grandchildren fishing, attending their sporting events and going on family trips each summer. He loved sharing delicious meals with family and friends and had a special knack for making every gathering memorable. Bill's legacy lives on through his family and the countless lives he touched with his generosity and warmth. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
