William "Bill" L. Wilkinson, Sr. passed away on August 5, 2026 at the age of 86. He is survived by his beloved wife, Teresa Wilkinson (neé Stratton); his three sons, William (Melissa) Wilkinson Jr. of St. Clair, MO,  Jeffery (Candi) Wilkinson of Wildwood, MO, and Jeffrey (Jeannine) Manning of New Melle, MO; six grandchildren, Bill, Tyler, Nolan, Abigail, Madison, and Meghan; 9 great-grandchildren; and many extended family and friends.  He is preceded in death by his father, Harvey T. Wilkinson, mother, Myrtle E. Wilkinson (neé Blakely), and brother, Harvey "Tommy" Wilkinson.  

Bill proudly served his country in the U.S. Air Force. He had a love for the outdoors and was happiest on hiking and climbing adventures, especially in the mountains of Colorado. Some of his favorite memories were made camping and taking weekend float trips with his sons. Bill enjoyed participating in and watching weightlifting competitions, loved to dance, and had a special place in his heart for animals.

His faith was a guiding force throughout his life. He served as President of the International Fellowship of Christian Businessmen for six years, where he helped establish an inner-city Christian outreach program. He was also actively involved with the Salvation Army's Tree of Life program, finding great joy in serving others and giving back to his community.

Most of all he loved his family and friends and cherished the time spent with them.
